A respected historian is found dead near Matthias Church, hours before unveiling documents that could rewrite a celebrated chapter of the Castle District. Police call it an accident. His rain-soaked notebook, broken pen, and final route through sealed courtyards say otherwise.

After closing time, a Basilica conservator reports a red drop running down the face of a marble saint. By morning, the conservator has vanished. A pair of gloves lies beneath the statue, the night recordings are missing, and nobody on duty admits entering the nave.

A cyclist disappears during a night ride near Vajdahunyad Castle. An abandoned bicycle, a torn red scarf, and oversized claw-like tracks are all that remain. Three witnesses swear they heard the same growl, yet each describes a different beast.

Minutes before an invitation-only fashion event, an influential editor is found dead inside a locked showroom. A single pearl rests beside the body, the display window is cracked from within, and a black invitation carries no readable guest name.
